It only survived because the Nazis wanted a Museum of an Extinct Race. It’s a sobering walk, but necessary.

That’s the 1942 hit on Reinhard Heydrich. It’s local history with global stakes. Then there’s the forty years under Communism. You'll hear what life was really like behind the Iron Curtain and about the 1968 Prague Spring. We usually finish at the Wenceslas Monument. This is where the 1989 Velvet Revolution took hold. It’s where students stood up and took their city back. You’ll leave with a real respect for the people here.
