This patch of ground has been housing guests for over 500 years. Records from 1457 show a student hostel stood right here on Wolfengasse, long before the city’s modern grid took shape. Construction on the current building started in 1953. The goal wasn't a modern tower, but a structure that fit the intimate scale of the old neighborhood.
