It makes finding a travel crew easy. Solo travelers love this setup. You don't have to try hard to make friends when a soup night is happening right in front of you.

You're at the city's transit heart. Národní Třída metro is 100 meters away. Můstek is closer still. Cross the whole city in minutes. Airport runs are simple. Take Bus 59 to the metro. You're set.

But leave the car at home. Prague 1 parking is a mess and costs a fortune. The hostel has no garage of its own. Use the Purple Zones if you have to, but don't say I didn't warn you. The Zličín or Letňany P+R lots are much cheaper. Park there and take the train. It's faster than fighting traffic on Národní. Walking is usually your best bet anyway since everything is so close.

Pick a bed that fits your wallet. Dorms are the cheapest option near the National Theatre. They have mixed or female-only rooms. Need more space? Private rooms feel like a standard hotel. You get your own bathroom. It's the best of both worlds.

Watch for the small costs. You'll pay a tourist tax and fees for late check-outs. But you save more by using the free Wi-Fi and the kitchen. Skipping expensive restaurants for a night of cooking makes a huge difference in your budget. It's the smart way to handle the economics of a Prague trip. You spend less on the room and more on the beer and the sights.
