Kings Court Prague Deluxe Hotel
Luxury Hotels
The Experience
Kings Court sits right on the edge of Republic Square. It’s a massive Neo-Renaissance building from 1904. You’ll be next door to the Municipal House and just steps from the Old Town gates. Inside, the look is pure Art Deco. It is a sharp, cosmopolitan choice for a luxury hotel prague. And you get a glass of cava when you check in. The rooms are built for quiet. They use heavy soundproofing to block out the busy square. If you need total silence, ask for a room facing the inner courtyard. These come with orthopedic pillows and high-end beds. You aren't just sleeping here. The hotel has a serious spa downstairs and a 24-hour gym. ADELE Restaurant has a terrace that stays warm all year. It is the best spot to watch the city move while you eat. It works for a romantic trip or any corporate visitor who needs proper infrastructure in the center.
What Makes It Stand Out
- The subterranean SPA KINGS COURT, featuring a 32°C counter-current relaxation pool and thermal zones.

History and Architectural Heritage
This patch of ground has seen some power moves. Historically, it held a massive Royal Palace. Sovereigns like Sigismund of Luxemburg and Jiří of Poděbrady lived here instead of at the seat of power at Prague Castle. Later, the palace fell apart. It spent the 18th and 19th centuries as a military academy and a barracks complex. The bank Živnostenská banka bought the decaying site in 1900. They cleared it to build a Palace of the Chamber of Trade and Commerce. Antonín Turek was the architect. He finished the facade by 1905. Matěj Blecha changed things in 1922 and another floor went on in 1956. Then GEMA ART GROUP did a huge renovation between 2007 and 2009. They saved the old facades and the stained glass. The Kings Court Prague Deluxe Hotel opened that November and turned the old bank into a five-star stay.
SPA KINGS COURT and Wellness Ecology
The spa is buried under the old foundations. It is a high-tech space for fixing your tired legs. Most city hotels treat gyms as an extra. Here, it is the main event. The wet zone has a pool kept at 32°C. It has a counter-current system. You can swim against the flow to get a workout in a small space. There is a Finnish sauna and a steam bath too. These help after a day on the hard cobblestones. You can relax in low light between sessions. The gym stays open 24 hours. Professionals use organic brands like Nobilis Tilia and Inlight for treatments. Entry is free for suite guests and those in executive rooms. Others pay a daily fee. This keeps the place quiet and never too crowded.
Gastronomy and Exclusive Lounges
ADELE Restaurant and Bar does not feel like a stiff hotel dining room. It serves Italian and Mediterranean food to everyone. The terrace is the big draw. It has heaters and wind blocks so you can sit outside even in winter. You get a great view of the square. Breakfast is a big spread with fresh ingredients. It is very popular. Hotel guests get priority seating, so you won't have to wait long. For a drink, head to the MAJESTY Lounge. It is a smart spot for cocktails and business chats. If you book a top-tier room, you get into the Executive Lounge. You’ll find free food and a private space to hide from the crowds. It is a great extension of your room for work or a quiet snack.
Strategic Urban Location
You are in District 1. It is a perfect hinge between the Old Town alleys and the New Town shops. You get the safety of a five-star hotel right next to the metro. The Municipal House is your neighbor. It is an Art Nouveau beauty that hosts great concerts. The Palladium mall is right across the square. So is Na Příkopě street. Shopping is easy. You can walk to the Astronomical Clock or Charles Bridge easily. It is a flat walk. But you aren't in a bubble. The famous pub Lokál is nearby. You can leave the hotel's fine dining for a cold beer and some local Czech food. The Náměstí Republiky metro station is right there. Trams take you to the Castle district in minutes.
