Architect Antonín Turek designed it. But it took a massive overhaul from 2007 to 2009 to turn it into the Hotel Kings Court Prague you see today. GEMA ART GROUP handled the work. They had to follow strict rules. They used high-pressure steam to clean the stone. They stripped old paint to find the original 1904 ochre color. Look at the balconies on Republic Square. Those balusters are exact copies of the originals. Inside, they saved the wood paneling and stained glass. It's old Prague with a new engine.
