The building dates back to 1890. But don't expect velvet curtains or dusty antiques. The 2008 renovation wiped the slate clean. Now, it's all beige tones, dark wood, and sharp lines. It feels functional and bright. Some rooms have high ceilings that hint at the building’s history, but the furniture is strictly 21st-century. The real win is the acoustic isolation. Váci utca never really shuts up, yet the rooms stay quiet. It's a clever trick. Space is used well, even if the rooms aren't massive. You get a desk, a flat-screen TV, and enough breathing room to feel comfortable. It works for a quick city break where you aren't planning to linger in your room all day.
