But don't stop there. Grab a flat white at Proti proudu or duck into one of the many small bistros nearby. It's a neighborhood for people who actually like to eat.

Most budget hotels don't give you a view. This one does. Café Panorama sits on the roof and looks out over the whole Prague basin. It's free for guests. You can watch the sun drop behind the spires without paying for an overpriced cocktail. There's a buffet breakfast every morning to get you moving.
